The Town Crier is an angry poetic rant romping through the land of the real telling true stories about the vagaries of others; the bitching neighbours; the ignorant drinkers, crap buskers, and Jeff, the lovely old man who is persecuted for being too nice. Performed on pop-up set, Spanner see what happens in a cartoon world where anger and suspicion can sometimes seem to be the only thing that connects us...

The Town Crier will be premiered at The Bitesize festival at Warwick Arts Centre 30th May 2008 and subsequently performed at various Midlands based venues throughout the Summer. Details to follow.
